Here come the bloggers!

This year, the North Shore Writers Festival is offering its first-ever blogging panel with some of the region’s most prominent bloggers. The following six panelists will discuss trends, best practices and the future of blogging at the festival from 2 to 3:30 in the Welsh Hall.

Rebecca Bollwitt, one of BC’s Top 100 Women of Influence according to the Vancouver Sun, has run the Miss604 blog since 2004. Focusing on life in Vancouver and its environs, it was voted Best Vancouver Blog by the Georgia Straight for the past three years.

Vancouver-based Sean Cranbury is a literary renaissance man: writer, book blogger and literary event programmer. He operates the book-focused Books on the Radio blog, as well as the successful Advent Book Blog, which solicits Canadian book recommendations from the country’s literati every day leading up to Christmas in December.

Kelsey Dundon’s The Anthology blog chronicles all things fashion-forward and stylish. She is also the founder of Northill Creative, a Vancouver-based firm specializing in writing and communications strategy.

When local author Jenn Farrell is not writing books or teaching creative writing classes, she dishes about beauty and fashion on her blog, Canada Fancy. The lovely and beguiling Ms. Farrell will bring her sharp wit and probing questions to the festival as this panel’s moderator.

Jeannette Ordas is a self-described food-obsessed web designer who writes about cooking and baking on her blog, Everybody Likes Sandwiches.
